Two days after my 19th birthday my life was forever changed when I welcomed my baby girl Aria into the world. Being a broke, young, single mom was the biggest challenge of my life and I was determined to create a life of stability for our little family. With lots of childcare support (thank you grandparents!), some luck, and a mama bear drive to provide for my cub, I worked my booty off and proudly still managed to show up for snack day and field trips.

Fast forward to a few years ago, my husband Paul and I became empty nesters and I found myself more driven than ever. I left a cushy job after 12 years to pursue more meaningful work in leadership and because of my fascination with creating fulfilling workplace culture moved quickly up the ladder. At the time I thought “This is it! I’ve made it!” sadly I soon realized my new role actually took me further away from my real passion, accounting and finance! I began to think of interesting ways I could use all of my skills, experience, and especially passion and the world of cannabis began to speak to me! Fueled with a sense of purpose I’ve become obsessed with supporting others to follow their passion!

Now I get to have deep conversations about what matters most to those I work with. That 19 year old me would be just as grateful as I am today to see all that life has brought. (pic circa 1996)
